Haradasun won the Wellington Stakes (Listed) coming from last just before the turn to have the 7 horse field covered in about 4 bounds. The champ drew away in the straight to win by about 2 and half lengths.

Nash Rawiller kept Haradasun out of trouble and settled the champ at the rear of the field before making his move. Nash kept the colts mind on the job by shaking him up in the straight "just in case" and showed him the persuader once after he got to the front and started to star gaze... Maybe it was all the cameras going off.

On return to the enclosure the pair received great applause from the generous crowd. Everyone was happy to see something very special.

Afterwards, Tony Vasil explained that from here it is on to the Group 3 Schweppes on Feb 24 at Caulfield and then the aim of the Group 1 Cadbury Guineas also at Caulfield on the 10th March.
